How to get there
By plane
Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport is 17 km from the Ibis & Tribe Budapest Stadium Hotel. You can reach the conference hotel by public transport or taxi from the airport. A public bus service (line 200E) runs from the airport to Kőbánya Kispest metro station (end stop) approximately every 10 minutes. From Kőbánya Kispest, take the M3 metro to Népliget metro station, then walk to the hotel in about 5 minutes. The whole journey takes about 45 minutes.
Taxis depart from both Terminal 2A and 2B. The airport’s guaranteed service is Főtaxi to transport passengers between the terminals and Budapest. A one-way trip to the conference hotel costs around €25-30.
By train
If you arrive to the Nyugati Pályaudvar railway station, take metro line M3 towards Kőbány Kispest. Travel to the Népliget metro station. Then walk to the hotel in about 5 minutes. The whole journey takes about 20 minutes.
If you are arriving to Kelenföld Vasútállomás railway station (it’s not worth going by train until the terminus at “Keleti Pályaudvar”), take tram 1 (Kelenföld Vasutállomás station is the terminus of tram 1) and get off at stop Albert Flórián út. From there the hotel is a 1-minute walk. The whole journey takes about 25 minutes.
By bus
Flixbuses from neighbouring countries usually arrive at Népliget bus station. From there, the hotel is a 5-minute walk away, no need to use any extra public transport.
By car
From the south
If you are arriving from the south on the M5 motorway, it will take you almost all the way to the hotel.
From other directions
If you are coming from the other direction, it is recommended to take the M0 ring road to the M5 motorway to avoid the traffic in the centre of Budapest., Then the motorway M5 will take you almost to the hotel.
