Invitation
The International Spring Seminar on Electronics Technology (ISSE) is the premier European forum for the exchange of information between senior and young scientists from academic communities and electronic industries from around the world.
Topics include experimental and theoretical work in a very wide-spread field of electronics and micro/nanoelectronics technology, electronics manufacturing, electronics packaging, advanced research and teaching of these topics. Based on a combination of oral and poster presentations as well as individual meetings, professors, industrial participants, students and senior or junior researchers come together in a unique forum to discuss scientific and educational topics and organize international cooperation in a convenient atmosphere during the conference days.
ISSE 2023 will continue the long tradition of the preceding ISSE conference, starting in 1977 (Weissig/Germany) and the last one held in Vienna (Austria, 2022).
It is our pleasure to encourage you to participate in ISSE 2023, organized by Aurel Gontean, the Polytechnic University of Timisoara, Timişoara.
Topics of Interest:
A. New Materials, Components and Processes
B. Thermal Management
C. Advanced Packaging and Interconnection Technologies
D. Testing, Reliability and Quality Management
E. Process Modelling and Simulation
F. Environmental and Ecological Effects on Electronics Technology
G. Nanotechnology, Nanomaterials and Nanoelectronics
H. Signal Integrity and Electromagnetic Compatibility
I. Sensors, Actuators and Microsystems
J. Educational and Information Technologies in Electronics Manufacturing
K. Discrete and Integrated Components
Please specify in the registration if you propose an oral or poster presentation. Papers which, by their subject, address a broader audience are typically selected for oral sessions. Documents with the same high technical level but addressing more detailed aspects (as e.g. PhD theses typically do) are often better suited to be presented as posters and discussed in small groups.
For almost two decades ISSE has been technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Electronic Packaging Society (EPS). The participating scientists can profit from getting their papers published by the renowned IEEE Xplore library.
Organizing the ISSE conference is a great honour, challenge, and pleasure for the organizers to promote high-level scientific research; we wish you to take the entire profit of this opportunity!
The goals of ISSE:
- Electronics, Electronics Manufacturing, Micro and Nanoelectronics, Research and Teaching in the aforementioned topics
- International Cooperation and Student Exchanges
- Forum for Junior and Senior Scientists from Europe and Other Continents
